Jerusalem’s Old City holds profound significance for Jews, Christians, and Muslims. As one of the world’s foremost pilgrimage destinations, it’s a place where you can walk through the living history of a city that has faced destruction, capture, and recapture 42 times over the millennia. Here, you’ll be surrounded by the sounds of church bells, the call of the muezzin, and the shofar’s echoes, while the air is filled with a mix of scents from church incense to the rich aromas of the spice market.
This experience is both sensory and spiritual, offering a unique journey. Wander through the streets and witness landmarks like The Dome of the Rock, Temple Mount, The Wailing Wall, and Al Aqsa Mosque. Conclude your tour with a visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the holiest site in Christianity, which holds significance as the place of Jesus of Nazareth’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection.
Following the morning’s sightseeing, we’ll continue to the Dead Sea, the Earth’s lowest point, where you can enjoy a relaxing float and capture memorable photos.
Once your trip is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email containing details about your excursion, pick-up time, and payment (typically around 8:00 pm from Sharm El Sheikh and 11 pm from Dahab, depending on your hotel’s location). You will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the Taba border. You’ll cross the border on foot to reach the other side in Palestine, where your English and Russian-speaking tour guide will be waiting for you to commence your tour. Please note that the time spent at the border is variable due to the number of travelers and political factors.
